Most badge nights happen in a gym or a meeting room. This one happens inside a working science center — and that changes everything.

When your troop comes to Discovery Center for Scout Night, the building itself becomes part of the experience. The exhibits aren’t decoration; they’re the curriculum. The Planetarium isn’t a slideshow; it’s a full-dome immersive journey through the universe. The hands-on activities aren’t worksheets — they’re real STEM exploration guided by people who live and breathe science every day.

Your scouts will work through badge requirements together, collaborate with troops from across the community, take in two captivating planetarium shows, and have dedicated time to explore everything the Discovery Center has to offer. It’s an evening that earns the badge and earns the memory.

We’ll fuel the adventure with a pizza dinner, and every scout goes home with a custom Discovery Center Badge — a keepsake that marks the night they did their science somewhere real.

Scout Night is a limited-capacity event. Troops who have attended before know how quickly spots fill. If you’re bringing a group, register early and come ready to explore.
