Have you ever wondered where telescopes came from, how they work, or how to build one yourself? Join us on September 4th for a discussion with scientist, telescope-maker, and author Drew Killius, and learn more about the inner-workings of all things telescope-related.   

Drew will explore the evolution of telescopes, from Galileo to the Hubble Space Telescope, as well as delve into the process of making telescopes and explain how beginners can become telescopists in their own backyard! Whether you’re a novice wanting to learn more or an experienced astronomer, Drew’s presentation is perfect for all fans of space and optics.
