Universe Unplugged Workshop Series – Come Learn the Life Story of Stars! – McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center, Concord NH
Our monthly Universe Unplugged workshop series will surely engage, inspire, and strengthen your understanding of the universe around us!
Please note:
Universe Unplugged Workshops will meet at 10:45am and run for about 60 minutes. Please plan to arrive at the Discovery Center when we open at 10:30am, to allow time for check in.
While workshops are in session, at least one adult must accompany their child/children for the duration of the program. Adults must purchase a general admission ticket to accompany their child/children.

The Life and Death of Stars

Come Learn the Life Story of Stars!
Discover how stars are born, live, and die in an exciting, hands-on event for all ages. Will a star end its life as a white dwarf, neutron star, or black hole? Why do stars have different colors—and what do those colors mean? Enjoy interactive activities and create a stellar take-home craft!
Hosted by the popular astronomy show presenter of The Sky This Month—you won’t want to miss it!
This program is designed for ages 9 -14, but all ages are welcome to join. With plenty of activities and interactive discussions, this workshop is perfect for curious minds eager to learn how humans have studied our universe for over 400 years!

$5 for members, $15 for non-members
General Admission to the Discovery Center is included; capacity is limited, and registration is required.
