The 2026 exhibit brings together nearly 40 artist members from throughout New Hampshire’s Lakes Region and features more than 100 exceptional works of art.

By Tuesday evening, July 28, Lynn Casey and her team of volunteers were adding the final touches to what has become our largest Members Exhibit to date. On Wednesday morning, three independent judges arrived to a light breakfast of Danish and coffee before undertaking the challenging task of evaluating this unusually large and impressive collection.

Thursday’s Sneak Peek offers guests an early opportunity to explore the exhibit while allowing the Event Team to ensure every detail was in place for Friday evening’s Opening Reception.

Please join us at the Friday evening reception, and mingle with many of the participating artists while enjoying refreshments generously provided by artists and friends of the Lakes Region Art Association. Ribbons and cash awards will be presented in each of the exhibit’s artistic categories, recognizing outstanding achievement across a wide range of styles and media.

You may have seen that the reception is from 4-6- or you may have seen from 6-8… Due to some kind of miscommunication, both times went out in our advertising!  Rest assured, we will be here from 4-8, so whichever time you choose to come is okay with us.

While the independent judges evaluated the artwork on artistic merit, gallery visitors now have an opportunity to recognize the works that speak most personally to them. Guests are invited to cast ballots in our concurrently running People’s Choice Awards, selecting their favorite artwork in each of the categories, along with their choice for Best in Show. Voting continues through August 30, and the People’s Choice winners will be announced during the ArtTalk on September 21st.

With an exceptional  number of large-format works and an extraordinary caliber of artistic talent on  display, this is an exhibit you will not want to miss.
