Have you always dreamed of building your own boat but weren’t sure where to begin? Designed for beginners and hobbyists alike, this hands-on course allows you to build your own boat from a high-quality kit using premium materials.
Guided by our knowledgeable staff, you’ll gain practical boat-building skills while using our tools in a welcoming and supportive environment. By the end of the program, you’ll have a stunning, hand-crafted boat ready to enjoy on our local lakes.
Each session concludes with a celebratory launch on Lake Wentworth, where participants can showcase their completed boats.
Full Scholarships are available for youth and families.
2025 BOATS
CANOE: Two-person canoe
KAYAK: One-person with max 160 lbs weight.
WOOD DUCK KAYAK: One-person with max 360 lbs weight)
PADDLEBOARD: 12′ 6″ long.
BEVIN’S SKIFF: 11′ 6″ skiff hold up to three adults and small outboard motor can be attached
