Get ready boos and ghouls, spooky season is officially here! If you’re like us, you can’t get enough of creepy haunts, costumed gatherings, sweet treats, and thrills and chills. We’ve gathered together some of the events we can’t wait to attend leading up to the most delightfully scary day of the year. Don’t see something here? Never fear, our events calendar is bursting with even more Halloween goodness.

Freaky Friday

When: Friday, October 29th, 5:30PM
Where: Tanger Outlets Tilton
What: Tanger Outlets Trick or Treat

Tanger Outlets Tilton is inviting Ghosts and Goblins to Trick or Treat through the Tanger Streets at your favorite stores. Carve out time to join the 1,000+ children that participate in this event annually. Participating stores will offer candy or trinkets to costumed children 12 years of age and younger. Plus, the first 50 Tanger Club members to check-in at Shopper Services will receive a free gift!

When: Friday, October 29th, 7PM
Where: Newfound Lake Inn
What: Boos Fest – Party in the Barn

Get dressed up and join our friends at Newfound Lake Inn for activities, costume contests, prizes, complimentary Hors d’oeuvres, dancing, and themed specialty cocktails.

Let’s Party

Spooky Saturday

When: Saturday, October 30th, 4PM
Where: Castle in the Clouds
What: Graveyard Tour at Castle in the Clouds

Calling all who enjoy the cozy, spooky feeling that comes with autumn in New England. Get in the Halloween spirit and join us on a walk around the property to view the remnants of cemeteries from long ago! We’ll also view the accompanying cellar holes, discussing the families that lived here and the funerary traditions for each appropriate time period. This walk is $10 per participant and pre-registration is required. Capacity is limited!

Get in the Spooky Spirit

When: Saturday, October 30th, 5PM
Where: Rail Bike Adventures
What: Halloween at Rail Bike Adventures

Rail Bike Adventures will remain open later to celebrate Halloween a day early and welcome Trick or Treaters of all ages in their costumes to the first-ever Rail Bike Adventures Haunted Train Station event. Rail Bike Adventures and the Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad invite you to join them for some sweet seasonal fun! Staff will be dressed in costume and Rail Bike Adventures will get the holiday treatment and be decked out with haunting décor, a fog machine, dimmed lighting, special characters, and your favorite Halloween tunes. They’ll set the haunted mood for Trick or Treaters to stop by, show off their costumes, have some fun, and pick up a few treats. Halloween costumes are strongly encouraged!

Join the Fun

Where: Bank of NH Stage
What: Halloween Interactive Nightlife at Bank of NH Stage

Shuttavac Productions is back Saturday October 30th at Bank of NH Stage for an encore, out-of-this-world InterActive NightLife Experience. Adjust your fangs, fluff up your bangs, dust off your dancing shoes, grab your ghouls, and get ready for a frightful night of mayhem and madness. Immerse yourself in nightlife. Dance the night away surrounded by our freakish cast of characters, fallen angels, Aerialist, Drag performers and maybe even enter to win some cash prizes in our Halloween Costume contest.

What: Halloween Cake Decorating Contest

It’s back! Looking to get into the Halloween spirit? How about entering a Halloween Cake Decorating Competition! Open to all ages! Bake your cake, decorate it in your favorite Halloween design and share it with us for a chance to be ‘TOP CAKE CHAMPION.’

Top 3 Cake Decorations will win:
Kids (2-11)-Gift card to Altitude Trampoline Park
Teens (12-17)-Gift card to Amazon
Adults (18+) -Gift card to the Witches Brew Pub

This Takes the Cake

When: Sunday, October 31st, 9:30AM
Where: Squam Lakes Natural Science Center
What: Naturally Wild Halloween

Join us on Halloween for Creatures of the Night Pop Up Animal Encounters along the trail throughout the day. See the animals along the trail enjoying a variety of pumpkin treats. Come in your favorite costume. Children will receive a bag of Halloween treats at the end of their visit to take home. Register early as this event will sell out. Walk-ins will not be permitted if tickets are sold out.

Creepy-Crawlies Unite

When: Sunday, October 31st, 1:00PM
Where: The Inn on Golden Pond
What: 1st Annual Halloween Party

Creep over to The Inn on Golden Pond for live music, food, games, a bounce house, face painting, live animals, crafts, prizes, and more!

This’ll Be A Scream

When: Sunday, October 31st, 9:00PM
Where: The Woodstock Brewery
What: Halloween Party

Get your oogie boogie on as local band, The Conniption Fits, plays the night away at this Halloween bash.
